Work sucks just as much after vacation
Wow. I am so exhausted from my vacation, that I need a vacation.

Review of Vacation:

Day One

Went to bed at 4am due to thinking I can bounce back from a night of fun and still get up at 6am. Have never been more wrong. We overslept till 9am and then spent 8 long hellish hours on the road to Los Angeles. Hung over in a car for that long has the equivalency of having to go to work in my opinion. Vacation did not feel like it had started yet. We collapsed in the hotel bed by 7pm and fell asleep like the old folks we are.

Day Two

Okay, now thats more like it. Woke up feeling refreshed and amused that beginning tomorrow, I would be getting paid to be here. We packed up our stuff and took a shuttle to the cruise ship. It was everything we had hoped. Large, sleek and breathtaking. Just how I like my men too. We began drinking once we got on the boat, cause thats what you do. The pool bar found us at 11:30am. We were explorers for the rest of the afternoon (amazing how many people enjoy bingo) and then promptly passed out at 5pm. Vacation was off to a good start.

Day Three and Four

I woke up sick. Thats right. I had the flu. Sore throat, fever and tons of snot. The poor boyfriend woke up all right and randy, and turned over to find me looking like I had died sometime in the night caused by something crusty around my nose. Poor guy. He was sweet and went down to the medical facilities and bought a $20 box of cold medicine. Cause everything costs $20 on the boat. Everything. Anyways, I thought he had done that cause he wanted me to feel better while laying in bed. Nooooo. He wanted me to feel better as we walked miles upon miles over the next two days where we were docked, San Diego and Catalina Island. Yes, I had fun. Yes, there were a few points I wanted to die. And yes, there were a few times I could have killed him. By the end of day four I was feeling better. So much so that we laid by the pool and drank margaritas. I talked him into entering the sexiest mens leg contest and watching him and 30 other guys dance and prance around the pool helped immensely in my feeling better. He took the gold by the way. Cause thats all I dategold medal winners.

Day Five

I turned 30. That pretty much set the mood of the day. I did however receive the beautiful three-tiered diamond necklace I wanted. I have such a good boyfriend.

Day Six, the end of the boat ride

I woke up sick again. We disembarked and waited at customs for two hours. We then drove back to LA, found a hotel, and holed up there for the rest of the day. It was by far, my favorite day.

Day Seven

Toured around Hollywood and considered becoming a porn star. Drove home and wondered how it all went by so fast.

Of course, lots of little things are being left out. All the people we made fun of, all the bingo we played, the rock climbing wall, him in a little kids white helmut, us looking spectacular for our formal dinner, ect.

But youll hear about that later.

By the way, thanks all for using my comments page like a shameless whore while I was gone. I could really feel the love. While I was out tramping around, my gold membership expired. Yipee. So I've now renewed and everything should be up and working. If not, then send some bad mental karma towards diaryland will ya?
